My research started because i had to give a persuasive speech for my college course. i am 47 years old so i dont really “get” the texting while driving thing. i do know, however, that it is something i feel passionate about because i understand that there is NO way that anyone can read a newspaper and write a letter while driving. I have a lot of young people in my family. Mostly, they are your daughters age when this happened. As you can imagine, most of my classmates are younger than myself. The topic I chose is texting while driving. I want to thank you for sharing your story. I am going to pray that I can change one mind about the horror of texting and driving. I thank you for sharing Heather’s story. If it can make one teen see the light, it will be well told. I am so sorry for your loss, but you have done the greatest service, in her name, that you could ever do. God Bless and Thank You again.
